A hike or bike ride where vast heathlands, dramatic ravines, powerful beech forests, and the winding Verkeån surprise and challenge the senses. The hike is suitable for everyone, including inexperienced walkers, as long as you take the time to rest a bit and enjoy the journey. A Foodie hike has that little extra something that makes all the difference!
Take a short hike
A 45-kilometer moderately challenging hike along the Skåneleden trail through forests and valleys, heaths and an endless sandy beach.
For those who love both hiking and savoring exciting food, three renowned food destinations in Southeast Skåne: Kastanjelund, Drakamöllan Gårdshotell and Tastecelebration Residence offer a unique experience.
With Skåneleden as a starting point, we have created a hiking package where a magnificent nature experience frames exciting culinary adventures.
As part of the hike, you will receive a delightful packed lunch. Your luggage will be transported and waiting for you upon arrival. In the evening, you will enjoy an exciting menu before resting in comfortable beds.
Do you prefer biking?
We have also made this package available for guests on the bike. Same luxury package but the routes are longer and of course on roads suitable for bikes. The routes can be made short (approx 25 km per day) or longer (approx 55-60 km per day).
You either bring your own bike or we help you with renting a bike for you.
Of course al hotels in the package have a suitable place to store your bike safe during the night, bicycle pump, possibility to wash your bike and maps.

Price per person in a double room SEK 5,300 (around 240 euro per person and night) for the entire package as described above.
For a single room, an additional SEK 400 per night applies.

Take a long hike
In our long hike, which includes everything from forests to the sea, three overnight stays are included. Depending on how you choose to hike, it can be anywhere from just over 30 kilometers to 45. We are happy to assist you with a good plan. If needed, we can arrange transportation back to the starting point.
The longer package includes three days of packed lunches, luggage transport, overnight stays with afternoon coffee upon arrival and three exciting evening menus. After dinner, a good night’s sleep in a double room awaits before refueling with a hearty breakfast.

Our evening menues
At Kastanjelund and Drakamöllan, you’ll find plenty of greens but also meat, fish, and poultry. No fixed menu but every day the kitchen is inspired by the very best of the season.
At Tastecelebration Residence, one of Österlen’s currently most talked-about food entrepreneurs, Isabel Brummer, has created an exciting restaurant with a focus on plant-based food based on the season.
