A 45-kilometer moderately challenging hike along the Skåneleden trail through forests and valleys, heaths, and an endless sandy beach.
For those who love both hiking and savoring exciting food, three renowned food destinations in Southeast Skåne: Kastanjelund, Drakamöllan Gårdshotell and Tastecelebration Residence offer a unique experience.
With Skåneleden as a starting point, we have created a hiking package where a magnificent nature experience frames exciting culinary adventures.
As part of the hike, you will receive a delightful packed lunch. Your luggage will be transported and waiting for you upon arrival. In the evening, you will enjoy an exciting menu before resting in comfortable beds.
Take a long hike
In our long hike, which includes everything from forests to the sea, three overnight stays are included. Depending on how you choose to hike, it can be anywhere from just over 30 kilometers to 45. We are happy to assist you with a good plan. If needed, we can arrange transportation back to the starting point.
The longer package includes three days of packed lunches, luggage transport, overnight stays with afternoon coffee upon arrival and an exciting menu in the evenings. After dinner, a good night’s sleep in a double room awaits before refueling with a hearty breakfast.
Price per person SEK 7,950 for the entire package as described above.
For a single room, an additional SEK 400 per night applies.
Cost for drinks beyond table water is additional.
Take a shorter hike
You are also very welcome to create your own package. For it to be considered a Foodie hike, two overnight stays are required.
We all have different conditions and preferences and the possibilities here are many.
If you love the sea, Kastanjelund is the perfect place to start or end your hike. If you love lush beech forests, waterfalls, and the view from Brösarps backar, Tastecelebration Residence is a must.
Drakamöllan, with its unique heaths and sand steppes, is a hub in the middle.

Our Food
At Kastanjelund and Drakamöllan, you’ll find plenty of greens but also meat, fish, and poultry. No fixed menu but every day the kitchen is inspired by the very best of the season.
At Tastecelebration Residence, one of Österlen’s currently most talked-about food entrepreneurs, Isabel Brummer, has created an exciting restaurant with a focus on plant-based food based on the season.
